On Friday, March 7, Inox Wind Ltd announced that it has secured a 153 MW order from a prominent renewable energy developer.
Inox Wind, in a stock exchange filing, stated that the project in Tamil Nadu will feature its advanced 3 MW class turbines.
Inox Wind stated that the developer is part of a leading global clean energy company, making this its largest-ever order.
As per the agreement, Inox Wind will also deliver limited-scope engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, along with multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) support after the turbines are commissioned.
Inox Wind’s CEO, Kailash Tarachandani, stated, “With India’s rapidly expanding commercial and industrial (C&I) market, Inox Wind’s expertise in wind project execution, supported by strong product and service excellence, continues to position it as a preferred partner for major renewable project developers.”
On Friday, Inox Wind shares surged over 6%, reaching an intraday high of ₹162.49 per share.
In December, the company secured a 60 MW order from Serentica Renewables to supply 3 MW class wind turbines. This order, scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2025, will be installed at Serentica Renewables’ hybrid renewable energy project site in Karnataka.
As of 12:30 PM on March 7, Inox Wind shares were trading 9.9% higher at ₹168.38 per share. Over the past year, the stock has gained nearly 24%.
